NA was new to this school At first, he seemed nervous yet confident too His parents seemed worried About the things he would do
Now, he feels certain About himself in school He has friends who think He is pretty cool
He works really hard And is always polite He makes friends quickly, He tries to be right
At first, he was finding his footing you see Unsure of why and how things should be I see that he has realized in the end Of all the people, “It’s best to be me!” |
ZD knows that he knows Facts about Science and Social Studies too
He enjoys reading Not so much math He tends to be playful Follows his own path
He loves all his friends and They love him too He plays with everyone His friendship is true
Sometimes he’s sad Because he is filled with doubts His friends always let him know He is definitely cared about |

BE loves doing math He wants to show everyone He is really smart
Shy and quiet most of the time His voice can be heard Whenever it is playtime
He works really hard To read and to write He knows it is important He won’t give up on this fight
He tries really hard To learn and to grow I’ll bet he feels smarter now It certainly shows |
JH is always sweet and kind If I promised something She always reminds
Helping me remember Things I must do To make all my promises Really come true
She loves learning her math Takes pride in her success She works hard in class She always tries her best
She is a wonderful friend Everyone can see Her smile lights up the room She laughs so happily |

AJ is quite a math wiz The fastest learner That has ever lived
He breaks down problems Like a seasoned pro He finishes his math tests Even before I say, “Go!”
To all his classmates He is a good friend He plays with them all Problems he’ll mend
He never makes anyone Feel like they don’t belong He will include them all And make his friendships strong |
JJ is quite a math pro too He & his friend stick together like glue
Quiet and focused He can always be And do his work So quietly
Always respectful Always kind Can be depended on Puts no one in a bind
He always volunteers To do the right thing His behavior is always Awe inspiring |

He loves his Legos And his pet cat He often talks about His mom and his dad
He is eager to learn He wants to succeed He does what he can To learn what he needs
He’s a great friend Caring and kind Playful and adventurous Full of surprise

EL is always quiet He wants to speak only When he thinks it is right
He stands confidently When it is his turn To share what he knows So we can all learn
His statements are clear Spoken with a strong voice He works quietly With nary a noise
At first, we thought He was just shy Now we know that He’s ready to try
When it's important for him to speak loudly He will do so quite distinctly |

She likes to take charge A natural leader she is She will debate you on anything With that she’s a wiz
A braver girl yet I haven't seen She will just about try anything Give her the chance to speak her mind She will keep on speaking you’ll soon find |
AM is so very polite Always saying please and thank you Being considerate and bright
Everything she does She does with interest Works as hard as she can Tries to be her best
She wants it understood She is a good friend She’ll stand up for them And work to defend
Letting me know When someone is sad Because for them She feels really bad |
